Ice Tsunami in Minnesota
Although this video looks like something out a B-Grade Sci-Fi flick you might expect to see as precursor to the next installment of a "Sharknado" movement, it actually is a natural phenomenon.
The above Mille Lacs Lake, which is located about 100 miles north of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Although it looks like a slow moving tsunami of ice overtaking the shore and apartments, it is actually called an "Ice Shove", which is a surge of ice that has moved on to the shore that is caused by semi-melted ice and strong, consistent winds that push from the center out where it builds up like a sail, which pushes it forward.
