Avocado Pit Carvings

Who would think that something you would normally throw away could be turned into an amazing art carving.

Jan Campbell stumbled across this back in 2014 when she was making a sandwich and was just reluctant to toss the pit and after taking it out of her pocket saw the orange pigment underneath and got the idea to try carving and letting it dry it and has been making Celtic looking sculptures.

Pancake Cat Portraits

This gem is from BuzzFeed Japan and features someone that creates cat portraits using pancake batter. 

While I think it would be hard enough to do quickly enough is right side up so you could see it, you would have to create this drawing backwards and not being able to see it until you flipped it, which is what makes it truly amazing.

Thanksgiving Turkey Prank

One time we took a neighbor boy who had always lived in the city to a Nativity scene and when he saw the gal playing Mary on the burro he said "Wow, that is a really big dog". 

If you are a practical joker and having some city kids over for Thanksgiving that you might want to turn into vegetarians, you might want to try this "Pregnant Turkey" prank on them.

New Trend - Glitter Body Paint

Like many gals I love all things glitter, I would have no problem with glitter clothing, glitter instead of clothing is not a trend bandwagon I will be jumping on.  I see this more as something an entertainer or performer might wear or something you might see in a fashion show and you would have to be thin or great shape to pull off.

While men like think "Hubba Hubba, I can almost see gals naked all the time" if the trend went mainstream, but lets face it, it is more likely hairy 40-year-old fat guys that would paint it on themselves in support of their favorite football team.

This Granny's Moves Are Probably Better Than Yours

At first, I thought this video would be a sweet video of a younger street dancer doing a few slow dance moves with an elderly woman to make her happy, but I am guessing by the woman's moves this was planned to stun and awe the audience, which it does.

You can't always judge a book by its cover.  While the fella is doing the heavy lifting part, this granny executes difficult moves without flinching and I know I wouldn't have been this flexible even in my younger days so hats off to this woman.
