Upon first glance, it might appear that the pig is taking the cat for a walk, but if you ever have had a cat, you know it is the cat is always in control. Neither people (or pigs) ever own a cat; the cat owns them.

Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus Going Out of Business after 146 years
On Friday it was announced on Ringling.com's website that after 146 years the Circus's final performance would be in May, 2017. The company cited high cost to operate and declining sales, especially after retiring elephants from the Circus last year.
It is sad that such a long-standing entertainment media that has delighted millions over several generations and future generations will not have a chance to enjoy for themselves "The Greatest Show on Earth", but understand it is hard for such a traveling show with so many performers and set up costs to stay profitable when the try to compete with the world of on-demand entertainment we live in today.
From an article in USA Today, the show started when five sons of German and French immigrants decided to put on a vaudeville type of show with several acts in Mazomie, Wisconsin in 1882. They took their show on the road, added acts and in 1907 bought out P. T. Barnum's circus
In 1967 promoter Irviin Feld (and later taken over by his son that runs the company through today)bought the organization, improving standards and eliminating "freak shows". It also started a "Clown College" to train future clowns. It was tuition free and had personality profiling on is application and graduates were awarded specific attire and makeup for their character.
It also had more animal acts, which were popular in the beginning, but later came under fire from animal rights activists as being cruel forcing animals to perform and hard on them with all of the traveling and I do see there point, but still sad to see the end of era.

Tricks Advertisers Use to Manipulate Photos
When I interned at an ad agency in college, found many of the above to be true.
One exception was Noble Roman's that (which is now a "take and bake" pizza shop) where only water on salad bar items to make them appear juicy and a cooking spray to keep the pizza from drying out under the hot lights.

Indoor Skydiving Dancing
While not likely to become a craze as skydive training tubes are not that plentiful, it is still very cool.
This gal uses a skydive training tube to show off her skills via a dance to Sia's "Chandelier."

Artist Makes Vase Out of Colored Pencils
Youtuber Nick at NZ Woodturning created a vase out a common school supply - colored pencils, and the results are very cool.
He used 4 stacked layers of pencils around a block of wood, poured resin in the gaps, then whittled it down using a tool and a lathe, then coat with a finish to make a unique showpiece.

Little Green Elves
Several of the book on the 75% Christmas Clearance Rack at Walmart.
Perhaps it is a cute book, but green elves? Are the from Area 51? Minions of the Grinch? Leprechaun Elves that have partied too hard landed on the North Pole by accident at Christmas? That would mean depending on which type they turn out to be there may be laser guns, stolen toys or kegs of green beer in those boxes.
Probably not a story to want to read to your kids at Christmas and the reason they didn't sell.
Which do you think they are or do you have a different theory? Feel free to leave it in the comments section.

EXPAND FURNITURE SPACE SAVING IDEAS
As I am an apartment dweller I am always on the lookout for space-saving ideas and the site Expand Furniture has a plethora of amazing pieces of furniture that expand and contract down to smaller items or flip up against the wall to allow more living space when not in use.
As there are more people in the world and spaces get smaller, I think this is the future of furniture, but as it is an emerging industry and a lot of thought, engineering and startup costs went into them, the price tag on items like these can be pretty steep.
One of my favorites is the Box Coffee Table to Dining Table that currently is $1,995.00.and come with an option of 9 different finishes, It can go from a low coffee table and legs kind of like an ironing board to bring it up in height for a dining table for 10 (with the use of 3 leaves).

Unicorn Cheesecake
This treat looks like it would be as fun to make as it is to look at and would be a fun alternative to serve instead of cake for a special occasion.
All you need is cream cheese, sugar, heavy cream, food coloring, a graham cracker crust and to it with colored sprinkles and whipped topping.
