An 84 year old man is continuing his son's legacy of helping those in need.
His son, Michael, had been a manger of a St. Vincent dePaul. In addition to conducting an annual toy drive he also would tie warm scarves on a pole for those in need to take to use on cold winter days.
Sadly, Michael passed away, but his father is continuing his legacy by tying scarves outside twice a day at the St. Vincent dePaul's he manages underneath a plastic tarp below a flyer that indicates it is in memory of his son.
What a wonderful legacy to continue. On a blustery winter day a warm scarf can make all the difference in the world if you don't have one and my God bless this man, his son in Heaven and community that supports this cause with their donations.
