If you are under 30 you might be scratching your head over this one.
I found this in a thrift store and I am guessing this is from the 1970s when Control Top Pantyhose became popular as it eliminated the need for some women that used to wear a girdle with their pantyhose just to wear hose, so it was a big deal for those women.Teen girls even wore them under slinky dresses as it gave a cleaner line to the garment.
These days pantyhose is not the wardrobe staple they used to be for women, let alone control top, but they are still great for formal dress, special occasions, or certain garments.
