On July 13th-14th they blocked off Main Street in front of the Art Museum and sections were blocked off or area artists and groups to create their artistic vision in chalk on the pavement.   

My son and I participated in 2002 & 2003 and I enjoy seeing others creations.  Unfortunately, I was not able to make it down to check them out until today.  Although the street was open and it had been driven on all day, many creations still remainied,

This video has gone viral on Facebook, so I thought I would share it here.

This man taught himself to play the Saxophone by watching Youtube videos and plays a few tunes he learned to some cows.

Apparently, they love it as they were scattered around the field before he started and they all come over to the fence to listen.

Patriotic Pop Tarts - Red, White and Blueberry

This is the first time I had seen a special edition of Pop Tarts for Independence Day.

I spotted the above display at Walmart and it is for a box of 16 tarts is a reddish pastry filled with blueberry filling and topped with white frosting topping and red and blue sprinkles.  

Coca-Cola Military Thank You Cans

I spotted this at my local Dollar General yesterday the above promotion in the window and I went inside to check it out and found the display and cans below.

In checking online this is the third year that Dollar General and Coca-Cola have teamed up with the USO for promotion to support the military and make a donation to the USO

Ranks in Thanks campaign that is active now through Labor Day.

The packaging is to thank service members, veterans, military spouses, military families, and American heroes.

If you have ever wonder what it might look like to bellyflop into a pool of Jello, you are in for a treat as Mark Rober, a Youtuber with a Mechanical Engineering who worked for JPL and NASA worked with his friends to create a massive pool of Jello.

After 6 months of planning and test and 10 days of prep the vision became a reality for a backyard party that was sure to make him the favorite Uncle of his nieces and nephew and some neighborhood kids.
