ART OF SERGI CADENAS - PAINTING CHANGES FROM YOUNG TO OLD
Culture Trip has listed SerGi Cadenas as one of six artist from Girona, Spain that should be on your radar and after seeing this painting that is a young girl that ages into an old woman as you walk by it you can see why.
The article on that site indicates:
"Sergi Cadenas was born in Girona in 1972 to a family of iron workers. He is self-taught and has grown to produce an intense and emotive style with his oil paintings.
Painted on huge canvases, his work features human faces, which are both highly realistic yet very surrealist.
Clever optical illusions, the faces he paints change from young to old, woman to man or human or to animal, depending on your viewpoint. His work can be seen at the Riera Galeria in Girona and the GalerÃa Iturria in Cadaqués and Madrid."

A foodie I follow in Instagram, Onceamonthmeals, posted the above picture of their snowman sous chef and have asked for help in naming it.
I suggested "Guy Snoweri" in honor of Celebrity Chef Guy Fieri (the after a shower before hair spiked).

Horror Inspired Heels
Hello and welcome to Day 12 of Countdown to Halloween.
Today Soulful (or in this case, Sole-ful) offering is Horror inspired shoes created and sold on Etsy Kayla Stojek who put on Horror movies when she starts a project to inspire her.
Her creations are both morbid and beautiful. While they are not cheap, you have to consider that they are unique creations and truly wearable art.

Movie Scenes Recreated with a Man and his Cats

Newslinq posted an article of UK couple, that uses their cats, Tara and Willow, to recreate iconic movie scenes.
Anyone that has ever been owned by a cat (people never really own cats; cats own them) knows this is probably no small feat as cats are no small feat and the article quotes the Sarah (to LoveMeow) as saying:
" The cats clearly think we’re weird. It can be a challenge to get [the cats] to cooperate, but they get lots of treats so that tends to win them over to our nonsense,”My favorite is the ET one above, followed by the "Chest Burster" scene from the horror movie classic "Alien", but the "Pottery" scene from "Ghosts' seems a little creepy but that didn't keep me from hitting subscribe on Moviecats Instagram account.

What a fun idea to try on the beach this Summer if you are a Horror fan. Draw some face in the sand and have your family stand over the "faces" to create a shadow where the face should be.
