A resourceful man in Fiji upcycled 600 discarded plastic bottles into a useable boat.

From the post on ippinka.com:

"600 littered plastic bottles were used by Tom Davies, a New Zealand native living in Fiji, to create this boat. It measures 4.5 metres long and 1.4 metres wide. All the 600ml bottles used are glued together to a layer of foam underneath. In Tom’s tests, the boat can hold up to three big Fijian men."

The above kitty got a special present for its birthday when its owner repurposed an old school television set into a clever cat bed. 

I think when my old school big screen finally gives out, my kitty is getting a condo.

The above planter was made with items that many people would toss out, an old chair part, a piece of a pallet, an old cake pan, and a vintage tablecloth.

I have to admit it would be an interesting conversation piece and give the person that thought of it props for their creativity.  

I guess if it was fully cleaned and sanitized (is that what they were doing with the Jack Daniel's whiskey next to the bowl?) it would be ok, but I don't think I would want a hot dog off of that grill.
