This place is going on my bucket list as it looks amazing and it is historic.
Grotta Palazzese restaurant and hotel is built into a natural cliff.
It has a unique history in that has been used to hold banquets and parties since the 1700s and painted in watercolor by Jean Louis Desprez in 1783 (picture of the painting on Grotta Palazzese's website).
Just imagine all of the people who have been there over the past 300 years that dined inside that cave overlooking the sea.
Location: Via Narciso, 59, Polignano a Mare (Bari) Puglia, Italy
