VINTAGE: ANTIQUE TOILET PAPER HOLDERS

It looks like way back when people gave toilet paper the respect it deserves by perching it in a fancy, ornate holder, instead of a generic stainless steel holder with a supersize plastic Charmin insert to hold the double sized rolls of today.

INTERESTING FOOD: LADY GAGA OREOS

Front of package

I spotted this at our local Walmart this week - Limited Edition Lady GaGa Oreos.

In looking at Walmart's website it indicated:

"Just Dropped Lady Gaga fans will celebrate this limited edition OREO! Inspired by her album, Chromatica, and her “Little Monsters,” the pink-colored OREO golden sandwich cookie is filled with green creme."

• Pink-colored golden cookies with green creme
• 3 embossed cookie designs. *May be virtual. Conditions apply"

Not sure what  *May be virtual. Conditions apply".

As far as how they taste, I found where Crystal Ro on Buzzfeed indicated:

"Honestly, at first I thought they tasted like Froot Loops, but I suspect that was my brain messing with me because of the colors of the cookie. Because, when I tried my second cookie, I closed my eyes and thought, "OK, if I was blindfolded, I literally would think this was just a Golden Oreo cookie." If there's one major difference I noticed between these and a "regular" Oreo, it's that these seemed a little sweeter than normal."

Foot Shape Genealogy

While more for fun than actually determining your ancestry, looking at one's foot shape/toes isn't something I thought about until I stumbled across it on the internet.

VINTAGE: 1920's Spanish Hand Carved Hearse

Source

If your final ride was in something like this you certainly would be going out in style.

In searching for additional information, a Russian post here.:

"Funeral cars were originally made in the same workshops as horse carriages, so much of their design and decoration came from the traditions of old hearses.

The cars were not used for many years, they were in different conditions: from minor paint damage to major repairs.

For the exhibition they were restored during the year on the basis of the restoration department of the University of Fine Arts of Madrid?

UNIQUE AD: 2020 GROUNDHOG DAY SUPERBOWL JEEP COMMERCIAL

Screenshot from video

As the Groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil, saw his shadow today and which superstition means we are to have six more weeks of Winter, I thought I would share this "Groundhog Day" themed commercial.

My favorite part is the above pic where Bill Murray is playing a version of "Whack A Mole" and looks at the Ground Hog and says "Nothing personal".

Below is a video of the commercial from Youtube
