As an unusual advertising ploy and clever way to refresh their brand image, Entertainment posted today that beloved mascot of Mr. Peanut has met his demise after an accident in the Nutmobile and he sacrificed himself to save his friends Matt Walsh and Wesley Snipes.

Of course, in today's day and age, it was all caught on video in the above that was posted on Twitter.

The article indicated Mr. Peanut's full name is Bartholomew Richard Fitzgerald-Smythe and born in 1916 and Mr. Peanut's full name is Bartholomew Richard Fitzgerld-Smythe and he was "born" when a schoolboy by the name of Antonio Gentile entered a design contest.

The "Funeral" is to air during the 3rd quarter of the upcoming Superbowl game on February 2nd of this year.
